Instructor Programme

UC Instructor Training Courses

To maintain a steady production of talented and knowledgeable instructors, UC runs an intensive training course for those looking to teach others.

At Urban Combatives, we designed our self-protection instructor training course to make sure every candidate is given the teaching required to become a successful instructor.

The Expectation of Candidates

All instructor candidates will require vetting, assess and have achieved Grade 3 before they can enroll. Successful candidates will be required to maintain a sufficient level of fitness and proficiency through further training, via UC classes, seminars, and workshops on a periodic basis throughout the year.

All candidates will maintain instructor status so long as they maintain a desire to learn. Those seeking additional instructional experience are welcome to attend and assist on any UC seminar, workshop, or event in the UK, Ireland, or Europe free of charge, outside of their own travel and accommodation expenses.
